Witness if You Will...
PODCAST COVER ART

THE WEEKEND CLEANER
The "Witness if You Will…" podcast needed artwork that teased their short story without revealing too much. I jumped at the opportunity to expand my art style, exploring different concept art approaches for promotion. As a fan of all things spooky and suspenseful, it was a fun challenge to create artwork in a style that matched the podcast’s tone.
Drawing inspiration from the script, I illustrated several concepts for the podcast to choose from, bringing characters to life from my imagination and experimenting with different styles.

ROARING 20'S STYLE
This was the first art style I explored, inspired by the simplicity of 1920s illustrations. I focused on simple shapes and bold shadows, keeping all figures fairly anonymous to let the listener’s imagination fill in the details.

A LITTLE SPLIT
The next batch leaned into a more trippy vibe, exploring a reality that feels uncertain. I fully illustrated the story’s two distinct characters and added visual effects to create a subtly unsettling atmosphere for the viewer.

A SOUL STEALING VACCUUM
The final concept explored a haunting simplicity. A vacuum played a key role in the story’s tension, so I experimented with making it feel spooky. I discovered that its shadow could be transformed into an unsettling form, creating a sense of unease while keeping the illustration straightforward. This ended up being my favorite concept—and my clients’—because it balanced spookiness with imagination, letting listeners fill in the details.
